If Russia instigated a coup in Mexico that was hostile to the US and we reacted to it does that mean we wanted it?

Or not? www.democraticunderground.com/1016111087
It's quite obvious, from the words of this own team, that his government collapsed in on itself, not as a result of the west instigating it.

6. I would expect nothing else from our media, but is that all there is to it?

Before you instigate any coup you first undermine, and it is easy if the leadership is corrupt, so that is why we love them.

We have a long history of doing this...and I see no change in that policy...and past behavior is the best judge of future behavior.
And there is plenty of evidence we were in it up to the neck, but you won't see that in the NYT or our MSM.

I forgot that certain followers of a certain totalitarian world leader will only accept evidence that supports their conclusion; same with conspiracy theorists. Never mind.

Now that they are getting weaponry from the west it seems they are building up for new offensives.

Putin said at the Valdai Summit (French, Dominique de Villepin; Russian, former Austrian conservative Prime Minister Wolfgang Schussel, diplomats) that John Kerry assured Yanukovich that he wouldn't need Security Forces.

9. wait--what?

So both Putin and Yanukovich didn't have security forces because Kerry said?

Does that actually compute in your mind?

Never mind the fact that Yanukovich did have security forces--lots of them--until his regime started to collapse and they all abandoned ship, in the familiar way of eastern European government collapse.
