1. Potential President

A question that wasn't asked. What if McCain had won, died in office and Palin had become President? These fools just couldn't bring themselves to ask the obvious. What kind of tragedy would that have been?

"She read her lines so well." Joe, with another swing-and-a-miss at that elusive profundity curve ball.

appear at events with her. Her national status as kingmaker is over, maybe she'll have enough residual celebrity appeal to insert herself into state political races (like arena rock bands doing county fair nostalgia tours).

that they've embraced her for so long.

Should be a fun time for the Dems.

for making the Republican Party into a complete joke.

Do run for president.
Do show up at all the debates.
Do campaign with all the nutty people crazy enough to support you.

Of course she is saying she's interested in running for president. That's how she grabs the bucks from the Free Republic rubes. She'll say outrageous things, grab a few million, then not run, and laugh all the way to the bank.

We've seen this before.

I've seen in the last 5 conventions I've been to"? The first thing Palin did was lose the votes of women and minorities. They're the demographic she polled with the worst and McCain had brought her shamelessly on board specifically to appeal to women. American Jews, especially in Florida, were alienated by her on the spot, recoiling from her rabid Christian fundamentalism. Sarah Palin has always reminded me of the vicious "mean girls" in high school. The ones who would spread rumors that such-and-such a girl had done it with half the football team and false accusations that another girl was pregnant.

14. Well, Joe, I guess you and I have different definitions of what constitutes a tragedy.

A public figure who is too lazy to write a coherent speech, too cheap to hire a competent speechwriter, and so arrogant that she simply walks on stage and spews venom for 35 minutes is loathsome, but hardly a tragedy.

You and your ilk are the tragic ones Joe. We still have to worry if she ever is in the position again where she can do real harm.
