4. The thing is, he's still amazing! And so incredibly humble...

I saw the original Bob Simon report on 60 Minutes, was blown away by it then, and am so pleased to see more about it and that the story continues. That old photo of him holding the little boy never fails to choke me up. It's just a shame that it took 70 years for his heroic actions to come to light, but it's yet another miracle that he's still with us at 105 to learn the real impact of all he did for those children - and it must mean so much for them to finally know the facts behind their stories. He really is a true hero and what a difference he made!
