They came up with Dark Ages Weekend, in which conservative celebrities were waited on by "peasants" wearing rags. I think that pretty much sums up their vision of an ideal America.

The GOP wants nothing less than to turn education into propaganda -- exaggerated nationalism, pseudoscience that fits some political or cultural whim, and glorification of severe inequality as a good thing instead of 'merely' a necessary evil. As for fascism -- fascist regimes invariably reduced the educational content to the most elementary level possible.
