Only I am surprised that it has not boiled over by now. One can attribute that to excellent management from the media and other forms of misinformation, which is rather astounding when you compare information.
You get a feeling that, if some of this bona fide information was made widely public and there were less talking heads spinning the top of confusion and spinning the division bell, all hell on a water board would break out, especially with a growing population of underpaid, overworked, cash-strapped, overtired, pharmaceutical-managed people hustling to survive from paycheck-to-paycheck.
Then again, that pessimistic and rather paranoid elf of mine in the corner wakes up from its dark, dystopian dreams to utter paranoid ideas. It likes to talk about how pushing things to the brink is part of the game plan, (it has obviously read Shock Doctrine, the little bugger) and that this all goes, part and parcel with the gradual, fascist coup where the they have a powerful military police state ready to catch the frogs as they magically start leaping out of the pot.
Chaos. The final frontier. These are the voyages of the Fascist Ship ALEC. It's endless mission: to explore strange new exploitations, seek out new fiefdoms, new Banana Republics.. To boldly go where no oligarch has gone before!
