By Paul Brochu, Lead Organizer, New Hampshire for The Stamp Stampede
According to someone who was there Saturday morning:
More people were outside protesting against Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker than were inside the building, attending the event.
Inside, what was billed as the NH-GOPs 2016 Kickoff Grassroots Training quickly devolved into an exercise in political fundraising. Party Chairwoman Jennifer Horn kept reminding the Grassroots participants to donate, donate, donate. She also encouraged them to volunteer for Americans For Prosperity. (Which is somewhat odd wouldnt the Party want its Grassroots volunteers to support Republican candidates, not a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization founded by the Koch brothers ??)
Inside, party officials were touting Scott Walker as the only candidate willing to fight the special interests. (Which is an odd characterization, while theres an ongoing investigation into whether Gov. Scott Walkers campaign and conservative groups illegally worked together in recall elections including the involvement of Walkers campaign in raising money for the Wisconsin Club for Growth.)
Inside, party officials were discussing who would and wouldnt be allowed into the event. Among those left outside in the cold? Any and all Republicans from Massachusetts. Apparently, NH GOP officials thought Massachusetts Republicans had struck some sort of deal with labor unions and because of that, any Republican from Massachusetts was turned away at the door. Among those left outside the event? A gray-suited man who described himself as a Lifetime Member of the National Republican Inner Circle who happened to be from Massachusetts.

(24,695 posts)What we see is corruption from high, as I was listening to the left radio it was explained very completely that there are two kinds of republicans the millionaires and the suckers.
The millionaires know how to game the system and elect a corrupt phony, like Scott Walker and then there are the suckers living on Social Security, Medicare and ect... voting in these republicans that want to cut the programs they live off and gave the cuts of this money they paid into there benefits and have it be given to the millionaires in tax cuts from the cuts they (Walker, , libertarians, tea party, right wing republicans and just plain republicans) want to privatize in the social programs.
And then they go around and speak of what they are going to do with the tax cuts, well lets compare Wisconsin and Minnesota, and California and Kansas.
Now if some republican (tea party, libertarian, or republican is on this thread please tell all of us which states have higher per capital income , higher education, ect... and which ones look like a bag of proverbial cr**p, and are near bankruptcy), and then please tell us which model is better, the gut and cut or the tax and spend and please don't tell me about Detroit, if that's the case lets talk about Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, ect... we can add that to this pot.
