At time index 2:20 in the video -

Chief Allen Banks (Round Rock Police Dept., Round Rock, Texas) explains: "...The officer was very professional, was...uh...um...talking to her calm. He wasn't excited. He wasn't angry. It's unfortunate the fact that...um...this lady did...would appears to hit her head and was knocked unconscious. But I'll tell you...the officer did what he was supposed to do in a situation like that."

Police policies need to be changed or they will eventually kill more people with their proper procedures. This lady is lucky that she was not severely injured by the impact and torque to her head.

She was drunk. One would expect her to resist. Doesn't justify slamming her head into the pavement. She could have sustained a concussion for all we know. Or...she could have died. Wait for it...the cop 'feared for his life'.

Just add "drunk and disorderly" to the growing list of capital crimes.

What a man. A DRUNK woman, who must have really been a handful for this thug to deal with; so he throws her to the pavement. God, what the fook is wrong with these police bruts!

Thank God for video of these crimes. Maybe someday they will actually be held accountable in the court system.

The same Albuquerque PD that is under US DOJ sanctions. Banks spent about 20 years there, the last year as
acting chief. He was involved in "doing it his way" then and apparently still does.

This is someone who is not acting like a responsible adult, and "parent". I recall the term, "bad parenting".. uh, yes.

But that is separate from the "professional" way she was body slammed into the pavement… UH… "BAD POLICING".

The chief is a fucking liar and covers up the bad policing. So, that makes him join the ever-growing "BAD CHIEF" club!

is bound to risk unnecessary injury, even serious injury.

If the woman was worse for wear through drunkenness, still less reason for such violence. Drunks would not be the most nimble and agile, and police are supposed to be able to handle themselves against males. More lunacy...

The sentence WONT be to take her out to the parking lot and smash her into the asphalt, knocking her out in front of her little girl.

Oh wait.

It's Texas.

Maybe it would be.

Then again, drinking and driving in Texas is a typical Saturday.

recorded that brutality I would mention my name, this is not a fascist state.

The police today are becoming the "pigs" from yesterday, because that's what they where called during the protesting during the Vietnam time frame.
