saying he sticks to his conservative principles, even if it costs him money. And besides, he'll say, he's filthy rich and he will barely notice the losses. What I wonder about is whether he's been as rich and successful in the past as he claims. Didn't Lawrence O'Donnell do an expose on him a few years ago, proving that he doesn't have nearly as much money as he wants us to believe? Didn't Trump file for bankruptcy several time before? Are there court records showing his finances as part of his divorce proceedings? What about his tax returns, if and when he agrees to release them?

Macy's, NBC, etc. so how's his real estate doing?

I recall many yrs. ago he either declared bankruptcy or was close to it. He was then able to rebuild and ostensibly appeared more successful than ever, but who knows? That one piece of paper he showed with his assets was a complete farce. No one with his kind of finances could put all assets and liabilities on one page.

Since he's doubling down on his racist comments, which a lot of the Republican voter base agrees with, they probably see him as being oppressed by political correctness stifling his free speech.

That would explain his bounce in the Repug primary polls.
