(15,027 posts)and the rest of today's Republican Party, as "An era of insanity."
Sociologists will ponder over this era for many years to come. And they will question how so many people lost their senses and followed one of our major political parties off a cliff.

(9,141 posts)stopping access to BC will increase the number of pregnancies therefore the number of abortions and infant deformities...just so Mitch can pound his chest. Proving once again all republicans leaders are sociopaths who lack empathy for those who need help of any kind.
And has been for a long time. He needs to go - the sooner the better,

(24,683 posts)filibustered over 419 bills, but the so called reliable Washington paper decided to refigure the numbers to make it appear otherwise during this right wing hypocrites rerun during the senate in 2014.
Let's list just some of them shall we, while this right wing hypocrite, who by the way, his wife's ( Elaine Chao------------you got it the same right wing hypocrite from the Department of Labor--------attacking unions, wages, work rules, ect....... ) family got caught trying to smuggle...............
http://www.youngprogressivevoices.com/2015/06/04/anti-marijuana-republican-caught-smuggling-cocaine/
Has said NO to unemployment insurance benefits--------still today
Supported TPP and voted that Medicare be used to fund displaced workers -------------TPP still being negotiated with this country (12 others in Hawaii) and this and other hypocrites supporting Malaysia policy of slavery worker------------nice family value hypocrite
Infrastructure---------wanted a six year deal, but wanted to use the strategic petroleum reserve as the mean's to pay for---instead of raising the highway gas tax and other fees to pay for it
Social Security --has always been a right wing hypocrite attack to give our trust fund money to private funded jerks, which did not work for this money-----------if I remember correctly I did with a 40 hour work week----when there was one at one time
Medicaid---------who needs this program in his eyes----he gets health care through his pay check by taxpayers of $225,000 a year and then to top off his work schedule, will have been on vacation over 100 days this year so far------------and he's gone in August
And now Planned Parenthood-----------------no more HIV testing, no more pap smears for cervical cancer, no more mammograms for breast cancer, and no more research using fetal tissue for Alzheimer's, Muscular Dystrophy, Reflexive Sympathy Dystrophy, Diabetes, Heart Attacks .
I bet this jewel of morality would not know the difference between a cat zygote or another zygote, because apparently the CMP didn't know when one of the chief hypocrites of the false information being presently restrained in California had no clue---------check it out.....................
http://crooksandliars.com/2015/07/judge-bars-release-any-california-based
And now we have old Turtle lips just trying to deflect his double standard of hypocrisy and lack of credible lack leadership to side with a lie--------------just shows his character and what's called a major party, its not a major party its a front for payola and bribes

(23,946 posts)We (Media Matters) also asked experts in the use of human tissue for research about the potential for profit. Sherilyn J. Sawyer, the director of Harvard University and Brigham and Women's Hospital's "biorepository," told us that "there's no way there's a profit at that price." She continued in an email:
Sawyer, July 20: In reality, $30-100 probably constitutes a loss for [Planned Parenthood]. The costs associated with collection, processing, storage, and inventory and records management for specimens are very high. Most hospitals will provide tissue blocks from surgical procedures (ones no longer needed for clinical purposes, and without identity) for research, and cost recover for their time and effort in the range of $100-500 per case/block. In the realm of tissues for research $30-100 is completely reasonable and normal fee.
Jim Vaught, president of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories and formerly the deputy director of the National Cancer Institute's Office of Biorepositories and Biospecimen Research, told us in an email that "$30 to $100 per sample is a reasonable charge for clinical operations to recover their costs for providing tissue." In fact, he said, the costs to a clinic are often much higher, but most operations that provide this kind of tissue have "no intention of fully recovering [their] costs, much less making a profit."
Carolyn Compton, the chief medical and science officer of Arizona State University's National Biomarkers Development Alliance and a former director of biorepositories and biospecimen research at the National Cancer Institute, agreed that this was "a modest price tag for cost recovery." Compton told us in an email: " 'Profit' is out of the question, in my mind. I would say that whoever opined about 'profit' knows very little about the effort and expense involved in providing human biospecimens for research purposes."

(2,657 posts)is the date after which their desired result made ALL MEANS permissible in their sick, twisted minds. To distort, lie, cheat, steal, assault and even murder is perfectly acceptable. Religious fanaticism will do that to people and those who claim to be atheists who vehemently oppose choice are just flat out liars about their own beliefs.

(6,161 posts)He and other republicans are not pro-life they are pro-birth. After birth the baby and mother are on their own. Republicans vote against programs and funding for food, healthcare, education and housing. Essentially once born their actions say FUCK YOU!

(5,668 posts)at least the ones that don't snap at you for disagreeing with them. They supposedly have homes that the homeless can stay at but in general 1. you never hear about it 2. no way can I see the Conservatives supporting such a tax. to fund such homes.. Next thing is this organization is nearing 100 yrs old. $500 million is alot yes but a drop in the bucket for what Conservatives spend on the Companies that Donate (one of which is clearly Big Oil. Exxon ) and those companies fund the part that funds abortion. So this is odd. They want to cut the funding that does not go to Abortions but they could be okay (I say that because we assume and they assume ) with Big Oil and funding them and other companies they may work for .. having that money actually go to Abortions. Yes I did have a major argument over actual Pro Abortionists. I guess by the book Pro Choice = Pro Abortion. So if thats it I'm somewhere in the middle of anti abortion and pro choice. I am not Pro Abortion. I'm for research and for research on how to avoid abortion is possible. ie I'm anti zero tolerance policies . Planned Parenthood should visually?? CGI show what happens when a fetus / baby is born in the wrong place and to stop it's suffering from being crushed to death very very slowly. They have to abort but zero tolerance policies in some state bar this and thats what happens.

(581 posts)in KY, that businesses tell the voters are to vote. Republicans don't care about the health of the people, McConnell don't care about the health of the coal workers. The mine owners have purchased McConnell and his LIES. This is the case of many Republicans. They have sold out to the lobbyist, one being the NRA. They are deadly afraid of the NRA. NRA has threaten them so much.
