13. When my house was burglarized it took

3 hours for one incompetent cop to show up, accuse me (with absolutely no evidence) of staging the crime, refuse to dust for prints, and tell me the perpetrator (if there was one)would never be caught. After a few minutes, I'd had enough and ordered him out. I never expected cops to prevent crime, but at one time I naively expected them to take some interest in serving the public and doing their job. No more.

9 goons piling on one kid for jaywalking while people victimized by crime get blown off is the sorry state of policing today.
