Meet The Congressmen Letting Predatory Lenders Screw Consumers

The payday lending industry is thriving in America today, mostly because there are so few regulations on the industry. And that’s no accident – members of both the Republican and Democratic parties have been on the receiving end of hundreds of thousands of dollars from the industry to prevent any new regulations.

Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this with Karl Frisch, executive director of Allied Progress.

that are allowing this to happen. THere was no mention of names and there should have been. Or at least a list of names and states.

IMHO, it's the large banks using others to fuck the common man out of everything he owns, but that is my own opinion.

One retired, he didn't mention a name so that leaves eleven. Patrick McHenry from NC, Pete Sessions and Jeb Hensarling from Texas, Stephen Fincher from Tenn. Among democtrats, Alcee Hastings from Florida, Greg Meeks from NY, that's all that he mentioned.
