I watched both from start to finish (opted out of watching the GOP debate for some reason). Bernie was and is terrific. He did a great job.

Thanks again, madfloridian.

in Fairfax, Va. was a major event with Sen. Sanders' making a rousing speech and taking questions from students in the audience and online. The GMU Rec Center crowd of 1,500 enthused and active Millennial college students was from the DC Metro area including GMU, George Washington Univ., Georgetown Univ. and others like the Univ. of Va. in Charlottesville. The event was also live streamed to 250 online student meetings at 300 colleges in all 50 states.

Tonight Sanders spoke about many issues facing the country which he emphasizes in his 2016 presidential campaign, and the Vermont Democratic candidate also announced his proposal to
>>Remove MARIJUANA from the List of Controlled Substances Regulated by Federal Law.

The Washington Post: Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders announced his support for removing marijuana from a list of the most dangerous drugs outlawed by the federal government-- a move that would free states to legalize it without impediments from Washington. The self-described democratic socialist senator from Vermont shared his proposal at a town hall meeting with college students that was broadcast on the Internet to more than 300 campuses across the country from George Mason University, Fairfax, Va.

"Too many Americans have seen their lives destroyed because they have criminal records as a result of marijuana use," Sanders told the crowd which erupted with applause. "That's wrong. That has got to change."
No other presidential candidate has called for marijuana to be completely removed from the schedule of controlled substances regulated by the DEA/Drug Enforcement Agency.

Given the over-arching madness that currently illustrates the US political system, I worry that, for whatever reason, Bernie might not achieve the nomination, might have a health problem, might stumble on one issue or another at a crucial time, might be the victim of a sleazy political manoeuvre. Then I hear him speak, and I can't help but start being re-enthused and praying that he achieves the Presidency.

of students across the country--especially in Iowa and New Hampshire--working their collective asses off to get this man the nomination. Ignore what the polls say. It could be a poll from Cluster Faux. It could be a poll generated from Hillary. It could be a poll generated from the M$M trying to sway peoples attention elsewhere. And the best part is you don't need a prescription to ignore M$M and other loud voices trying to divert your attention. Stay focused on what need to be done and WE can get there (notice I didn't say "I can get there&quot . It's WE the People. Always.
