Related: About this forumCNN called Fiorina a liar to her face and it was magnificent.
When Camerota asked if theres new data to back that up, and if Fiorina should use the new data, the candidate responded with, absolutely not, then proceeded to blame the media for asking questions about what she says.
The nerve, really, for the media to hold candidates accountable for what they say. How dare they?
Whats most interesting about all of this is this little thing called facts, and those facts reveal that more women were working by the end of President Obamas first term than when he came in with the worst recession since the Great Depression. According to CNN, who grabbed numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (are they also part of the evil liberal media?):
In January 2009, there were 66.5 million American women working in non-farm jobs, compared to January 2013 when there were 66.9 million. Thats an increase of over 400,000 working females in Obamas first term.
Sure looks as though the Obama administration that Fiorina is saying was so bad for women, was actually pretty damn good.

(86,337 posts)those pesky darn facts always seem to get in the way of really good flame bait.
One thing I noticed in that clip, since I do a great job of ever watching Fiorina, is that her right eye gets all squinty when she's agitated.

(28,344 posts)I watched it a second time after reading your post. I wonder if it's agitation or a reaction to passing misinformation - or both.
I had a typo in my previous comment, I meant that I never watch her. Still, I have found that people who lie and know it often have nervous twitches that give them away when someone calls them out on the lie, that's what I suspect is going on here. Her agitation is noticeable.

(24,718 posts)here is the Republican Presidential candidates' game plan going forward: attack the media, calling every news source except Fox and right-wing radio types, liars; continue to lie; and hope that they can bring along enough low-information voters to prevail.
Hmmm. Wonder if it will work?

Well, honestly Carly you are a liar.
The stat she doesn't seem aware of is her own.... tanking in the polls for being a liar.
The unemployment number is from Obama's first 3 months in office. His having inherited Bush and Bill Clinton's economic world melt down from banksters. The ticking time bomb of fraud and deregulation.
The economy was great under Clinton, it's when GW cut taxes and started 2 wars without paying for them that things started going south. Oh yeah, it was also the regulators under GW failing to do their jobs that caused the Wall St. crash.
Think I detect a bit of bias.

Seriously,
I worked for Fortune 1000 company and the CEO (a top Rethug fundraiser in the state) constantly complained about the local paper reporting (accurately) on the company's failed product. Seemed to think that they should have just published the company's press releases. Typical sociopathic behavior and Carly is a big a one as they come. Both that CEO and Carly (indirectly) have done a lot of harm to me and my wife.

few times.
"Magnificent" would calling her on this "liberal media" bullshit that they've been using for decades to hush criticism. "Magnificent" would also be calling Fiorina on the fact that her entire purpose in the campaign is to launch attacks on Hillary Clinton that a male candidate would get more shit for using. That's why she's actually being funded by the superpacs of her "rivals" in this primary.
