Peter King went on MSNBC to pile on Ted Cruz for his anti-New York comments at last night’s debate. He pointed out that Cruz takes a lot of money from people with “New York Values.” Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola (ThinkTank), Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show Podcast), and Elliot Hill (The Lip TV), hosts of the The Young Turks, break it down. "New York Congressman Peter King––a Republican, but on record as despising Cruz––sent a statement to CNN saying rather bluntly, “Memo to Ted Cruz: New York Values are the heroes of 9/11; the cops who fight terror; and the people you ask for campaign donations. Go back under a rock.”

And Trump himself also pushed back along the same lines. In a Bloomberg Politics interviewyesterday, Trump said, “When you want to knock New York, you’ve got to go through me. New York is an amazing place with amazing people.”

He too invoked 9/11, saying, “Frankly, if you would’ve been there and if you would’ve lived through that like I did with New York people, the way they handled that attack was one of the most incredible things that anybody has ever seen.””*

3. Democrats Have Substantive Debates

I may be wrong, but I think the Democrats have been able to have substantive debates. Democrats have been able to answer questions about there policies. The Democratic debates have been far different from the Republican debates. So, far it seems the Democrats have been able to disagree with each other without name calling. The Republican debates seem to be full of foolish stuff.
