Hillary Clinton’s Hired Goons Attack Bernie Sanders

Clinton surrogates are popping up in the corporate media to make a case against Bernie Sanders. The latest attack claims that Bernie will hurt the Democrats down the ballot in so-called “purple states” because he’s not moderate enough. These people seem to forget that the reason Bernie is surging right now is exactly because he’s NOT a moderate – that’s what the public wants!

Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

This is why I have to wonder how many Bernie supporters are GOPers for Bernie. They certainly use identical rhetoric -- demonization of Clinton or anybody who supports her.

I personally am very offended by any campaign that uses McCarthyist tactics.

We just will not allow Hillary supporters to attack Bernie Sanders with falsehoods and negatives without defending the truths.
So this is Hillary's tactic ..attack attack and then accuse Bernie Sanders of the attack. This is a Karl Rove tactic and is being used ever since she fell behind in the poll's.

I and others have commented on how it seems almost ALL THE POSTS of BS supporters read like GOP ATTACKs on CLINTON. That's what I object to and find it hard to believe Democrats would argue their case exactly as the GOPers do..

it's amazing how often Sanders "supporters" use the same rhetoric of the GOP

Almost all the BS supporting posts are attacks of HRC - usually throwing out innuendos rather than facts. JUST LIKE THE SHIT I SEE ON DISCUSSIONIST!

Everybody knows this. The identical techiques of McCarthy style attacks based on innuendo is why I consluded these are post from GOPers for BS. The candidate they fear is Hillary Clinton because she can take them on in a fight and tale them apart!

I did not say their are no DEmocrats who support Bernie. I'm just saying these posts which supposedly are FOR Bernie which are nothing but attacks based on innuendo are just like the GOP attacks on HRC and probalby are posted by GOPers for BS.

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

"Hired goons" is a term that should be reserved to throw at Republicans and not our fellow Democrats. Hide this.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Wed Jan 20, 2016, 02:45 PM, and the Jury voted 2-5 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: What are you talking about? Goonies was a CLASSIC!
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: If you disagree, dispute it within the post. The alert system is not intended to hide views you disagree with.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Nay, such "hired goons" can spring up in most all walks of life, be it liberal or conservative, progressive or reactionary......unfortunately, disingenuous, nasty, lying shit-flingers are not confined to the right wing. Sending out an alert objecting to the title of a perfectly reasonable video seems lame to me. I vote to leave this alone...... Signed by a resident of a former uncomfortably purple county that has suddenly surged in its support of Senator Sanders and the Democratic Party.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I don't really like it, but it's the primaries and I've seen much worse. Just not over the top IMO. B
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: To the poster: Try another site. Tired of this shit. Hide.

If we want to hold on to what we already have and continue to work towards meaningful change Bernie Sanders is the only choice.

A vote for Hillary is a vote to cede control of the House and Senate to the GOP. Bernie gives us a chance to recover from the last 6 years of loses.

Bernie certainly will help down ticket races. All the young folks who will get out and vote for him will vote for down ticket races, as Obama did in his first term. The problem is that there are too many of these "moderates," who should call themselves Republicans any way. When these moderates ran in 2014, most lost, while initiatives that were quite radical on the left, like banning fracking in a city in Texas, or several areas where gay marriage passed, passed.

in 2010 and I feel it's because the party ran away from its populist message the day Obama was sworn in.

Bernie is no Obama. He's spent his entire adult life fighting for the populist directive. I would expect him to be very outspoken in 2018 asking for continued GOTV efforts to bring him the House and Senate he needs so that our demands can be fulfilled.

vigorously!. But I don't know of ANY Democrat who thinks demonizing and silencing the arguments of another Dem who he disagrees with - is okay. That's the behavior of the GOP!

That's why i doubt that those who are alerting on HRC posts - like the one shown in OP - alerted for chicken shit reasons, o rthat reer to facts that GOPers for BS don't want cited - are really Democrats but are rather GOPers for BS (because they do NOT want to have to run against HRC). That, of course, does not mean there are not actual Democrats who REALLY support Bernie because they think he is the better candidate.

To chair the committees? To set the agenda? Do you like the Democrats to vote for liberal candidates for the Supreme Court? Then you have to swallow your indignation and accept all Democrats - blue, yellow, or pink polka dots Democrats. This is how government works. This is how politics work. Perhaps when you grow up and would have experienced living under different combinations of administration and legislation bodies you will understand it. No, you don't have to like it, but you will accept this as facts of life.
