“Track Palin—the 26-year-old son of Sarah Palin, who today endorsed Donald Trump for president—was arrested last night, and court documents obtained by Gawker reveal more details about the bloody and frantic altercation.

According to a police report written by Officer Andrew Kappler—and first reported by the AP and KTVA in Alaska—Wasilla police were dispatched to a home owned by Sarah and Todd Palin after receiving a 911 call from a woman who said that she had been punched in the face by a male who was also in possession of a gun. 911 dispatch also received a call from Track Palin, informing them that the woman who had previously called them was drunk.

Kappler writes that upon arriving at the home he found Palin outside talking on his phone with a “visible injury” to his right eye. He also observed that Palin’s eyes were bloodshot and that his breath smelled like alcohol, and writes that Palin was “uncooperative, belligerent and evasive.” Because of Palin’s “escalating hostility” and the “unknown whereabouts” of the victim, Kappler placed Palin under arrest.”

He Was the Most Injured Palin During Their 2014 Drunken Brawl

In October 2014, the Palin family were involved in an infamous drunken brawl at one of their friend’s homes. The brawl included, according to CNN, Track Palin trying to start a fight with his father, Todd. The network’s report, citing official documents, said that Track was “shirtless,” “heavily intoxicated” and “belligerent at first.” The fight happened at a party thrown at the home of Palin friend Korey Klingenmeyer. Track told officers that the fight broke out when some of the party guests began “talking rudely” about some of the Palin sisters. The eldest Palin left the fight with the worst damage: a bloody mouth, black eye and an elbow injury.

Audio clips and photographs taken by police officers at the scene of a brawl involving the family of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin were released Tuesday by the Anchorage Police Department.

The Sept. 6 melee was initially reported by police as a fight involving around 20 people at a South Anchorage home. Homeowner Korey Klingenmeyer ​was hosting a birthday party for his son and twin brothers Marc and Matthew McKenna. Palin's husband, Todd, a friend of the McKennas, was also celebrating his 50th birthday.

According to witnesses, the Palin family arrived at Klingenmeyer's home in a Hummer limousine and were involved in the brawls that took place later that evening.

At least two fights took place, according to witness statements -- one in the street in front of the home involving Todd Palin and son Track, and another behind the home, where multiple witnesses said they watched daughter Bristol Palin punch Klingenmeyer repeatedly in the face.

Detailed events of the evening were outlined in a police report released Oct. 9. The audio clips released Tuesday mirror the police report, offering sometimes-conflicting witness statements.

No charges were filed in the case, although Klingenmeyer mentions several times during the audio clips that he was considering filing charges.
