I never thought Goldman Sachs had my best interests in mind.

The legal duty of a board of directors of a corporation is to maximize returns to stockholders.

Now, courts have said that a corporation may do charitable things in order to get goodwill to maximize profits. But maximizing profits is the goal of everything they do. Well, that and maximizing their own compensation and perqs.

making money for their shareholders? GS isn't a mind or a heart. GS is an institution created and functioning for that purpose and no other.

The only thing he leaves out is the part where Goldman Sachs is working to bring the crash about.

The liquidity and financial crisis continues ... They just rescue financial bankers.

These 42 big banks continue to scoop out the costs for the financial bankers as they continue to fuck all of us with the usual with financial fraud-

That is what we have created on Wall Street.
And they are not at all ashamed of it but brag about it because being that way is held in high esteem.

Makes me think of the revolving door on third way, to progressive promises, then back to third way after the primary nomination to open the door for Wall Street again.

Those of progressive democracy have learned what happens when the Weathervane points Left; the wind is blowing hard from the Right.

Adding a long list of GS moneymen.

went on a buying spree with their bailout money, snapping up hotels, marinas, and high end properties at fire sale prices. Now they are buying up the BP claims for pennies on the dollar from victims who have given up getting paid after 6 years of corrupt litigation. There is a reason why Wall Street is America's biggest landlord now. They were the cause of the crash, but had the money to take advantage of the problems they caused to make a killing!

This guy is so used to doing this, knows they are untouchable, that he can say this crap without shame, oblivious to the irony of the situation. We have seen how far cops will go, secure in the knowledge that they won't be prosecuted for murdering unarmed black men. Guys like this are secure that they will not be prosecuted for their scams, they are above the law. That's is why he can say that Goldman Sachs rules the world, because they OWN THE POLITICIANS!!!

Of course, that doesn't suggest what this reptile said is not coming to pass. People like him are soulless predators. All that's behind that suit is an appetite. We have the right and the duty to defend ourselves from these creatures and their minions. That means taxing them, regulating them, neither electing them nor permitting them to be appointed to public office, and being as swift to put them in prison as we are other criminals. Regardless of how powerful Goldman Sacs is it's executives don't have police powers. If just one of the big dons goes down, and it becomes certain that others will follow, the arrogance and criminality will decline precipitously.

... to rewrite the laws of corporate governance, and leave Goldman Sachs the goddamned fuck OUT of the discussions. The world is in this trouble in the first place because sociopaths like this maggot were allowed to write the laws governing themselves. That shit has to end. Now.

You can damn sure betcha this oily sonofabitch wouldn't be so candid on American TV. These people are the scum of the Earth.
