Oregon man joining Bundy militants threatens cops in drunken rant: ‘I will kill all of you’

Notice how the guy's not black or anything? And still alive at the end of the video? Just sayin'...

Body Camera recording of Oregon State Police Trooper speaking with subject at Hines Market.

Release from Harney County DA:

The following release has been authorized by the Harney County District Attorney’s Office:
On January 25, 2016 at about 11:45AM, the Harney County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed adult male at the Hines Market who made comments he wanted to join the militia at the refuge and help with killing federal agents.

Law enforcement personnel responded and made contact with the male, identified as Joseph A STETSON, age 54, of Woodburn. During the contact, it appeared STETSON was armed with a handgun (it turned out to be a pellet gun in a belt holster). STETSON told troopers he was intending on being the personal guard for the Bundys.

It was determined through the contact that STETSON was believed to be impaired and was arrested by troopers for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (alcohol). During the arrest, he repeatedly made death threats towards the officers and resisted arrest prior to being placed into a patrol vehicle. After being placed in the patrol vehicle, STETSON kicked the vehicle door, damaging it.

STETSON was lodged at the Harney County Jail for DUII and Resisting Arrest

**Note*** Date on recording is incorrect- occurred 1-25-2016

I wonder how long it'll take some of our resident gunthusiasts to join this thread in to "defend his rights", like they have for the others?

And yeah, I really believe this tool was a Green Beret Colonel in 1979, no wait, it was 1980, but his records were sealed

I saw videos of at least two "kill the cops" demonstrations which included people of all colors and none were killed.

The Judge in Harney County is not a friend of this so called occupation and threats are being taken as a action item.

After all, he did tell them he is a Special Forces Colonel. Then again he was acting like no Colonel I've ever been around. If I were in charge I would have wired him up with video and sound and had him dropped off at the refuge.

Had to be when he realized they were going to check his claim of being a Green Barrett Colonel.

"My records were sealed,...by,...(pause)...Ronald Reagan!" (Yeah, that's the ticket!)

No doubt he's also married to Morgan Fairchild.

this is the type of follower the Bundys have brought out of the woodwork.

Born in 1962, a green beret colonel in 1979 in Central America. He must have been VOLAR

On the one hand, it is very refreshing to see law enforcement officers acting respectfully, professionally and with restraint in this encounter. That is to be applauded. On the other hand, however, as I was watching the video, I found myself wondering if the same politeness, respect and restraint if it had been, say, an African American man saying exactly the same things and acting in exactly the same manner.
