This is the complete video footage of a joint FBI and Oregon State Police traffic stop and OSP officer-involved shooting of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum on the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. This footage, which has only been edited to blur out aircraft information, was taken by the FBI on 01/26/2016 and released by the FBI on 01/28/2016.

These fools were all armed and had been threatening in their behavior leading up to this. What did they think would happen?

One thing about telling everyone that you are armed and dangerous.

He did have his hands properly raised, but then he dropped them.

This appears to cause one (officer) to shoot. He did not empty the clip or continue to shoot a downed person.

That's what I think I saw anyway. It's always tough watching someone get killed.

6. It sounds like the two State Troopers actually used a lot of

restraint when they shot him. Per the FBI Agent, they did not fire that many rounds.

While they probably fired at the car as it was coming at them, once it was stopped it seems like the State Troopers and FBI Agents used non-lethal means to take the rest into custody. It sounds like only two of them did not end up being charged (at this time).

The other people are lucky that Tarp Man didn't get them all killed.

7. It looks like he ran over 1 guy as his car drove into the snowbank also. He had plenty of chances

to get out of this alive and chose not to.

Paranoid ranting man that is still at the refuge, now him I'd expect to over react. But tarpman was more reasonable sounding, not as outwardly nervously paranoid, though set in his desire to die for his cause.

What a shame.

8. If the FBI statement, they Agent indicated that their

man almost got run over. It was a really close call.

I wonder if they wil add attempted murder of a Federal offical to the list of charges for people that were in that car and have been charged.

11. Looking really closely, frame-by-frame, the officer jumps out blocking the way around

and Finicum may have ended up in the snow because he couldn't get past without striking the LEO. The officer jumps back just as the vehicle reaches him and apparently crouches facing the vehicle without cover. Very brave.

Were any shots fired before Finicum exits the vehicle? I suspect they were relying on the setting, deep snowbanks on both sides, for containment. But, when someone threatens lives with a vehicle ....
