Trump isn't just being a coward; he's threatening freedom of the press. His message is "Get tough with me and I will use my power to your detriment," in this case to cause them to lose ratings. No, there is no law against that behavior, but campaign time is when hopefuls show us what they will do if they get in.

Trum is sending the message that when it suits him he will intimidate the press.

There's no law or constitutional requirement that says he has to stand up on a stage and let some bimbo fling feces at him.

The only reason a candidate goes on these idiotic "debates" is to get face time on TV (which Trump doesn't need), to get his message out (which Trump is doing quite well without them), or to have a give and take on issues with other candidates (which Fox wouldn't allow him to do).

There are a lot of things wrong with Trump, but he isn't stupid. There is no benefit to him going on the show -- and a lot of downside. I wouldn't subject myself to Fox News either.

I don't call it cowardice. I call it a smart choice. It's about time more politicians told Fox to go screw themselves.

Whoopi is an OK comedian. I don't see her as a competent political analyst.

Repeating what a person running for President said is not flinging feces at that person. It would be one thing if Megan Kelly had actually lied about Donald Trump, but she just told the truth about him. A person is a coward when they cannot stand up and take responsibility for what they have said.

I agree though- It was a lot more fun when it was all dissing Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Now that she's moved on to a show where she's the brainy one, The View is a lot less entertaining.

His crassness, ugliness, racism and narcissism are no surprise to me. But, the fact that he speaks at a fourth grade level, can't complete sentences without repeating himself, and is too lazy and unaware to bring actual facts to any discussion, shows me just how dumb this man is.

He speaks a little more clearly than Sarah Palin, but not quite as well as George W. Bush.

Trump was born very, very rich. That's why he's a "successful businessman", that's why he has had a few beautiful wives, that's why he's running for president.

But he's dumb as a brick.
