Bill Clinton Says Hillary Is Now For FREE COLLEGE !!! Oh Yes He Did... [VIDEO]

When asked about the high cost of college and the barrier caused by student loans...

"What does she want to do about that? Make college tuition free at every public university in the country, at every historically black college and university in the country, at every university that serves first and second generation Americans, and other universities that are small, have relatively modest tuition, and high rates of return."

Hillary herself has stated "I think everyone who goes to a public college or university should be able to do that without having to borrow a penny to pay tuition," Clinton said Monday. *

So will we hear about this new Hillary Clinton plan at the debate?!!!

because they insisted the educations of rich people's kids shouldn't be subsidized.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511380739 That was a couple of days ago, though, so I guess the wind must have shifted again.

Thanks to the Clinton group for bringing this to our attention. Bill Clinton was campaigning for his wife, and promised the next President Clinton would work for free tuition at public colleges and universities, as well as some other institutions he thought it would be nice to kiss up to. Does this sound familiar? I would swear some other candidate proposed exactly this, and the Clinton camp said it was no good because it would allow rich kids to get free tuition. I’m not sure which universities DON’T serve “…first and second generation Americans…” so I guess this is a proposal to include for-profits and private colleges and just about every institution of higher education one might imagine. That’s downright progressive!

http://www.wowt.com/home/headlines/President-Bill-Clinton-to-make-stops-in-Omaha-Lincoln-to-Get-Out-the-Caucus-370851451.html?ref=451

In the "Hillary for Nebraska Get Out the Caucus" event, Mr. Clinton touted Hillary's experience and policies on health insurance and student debt. "What does she want to do about that? Make college tuition free in every public university in the country, in every historically black university and college in the country and every university that serves first and second generation Americans and other universities that are small with relatively modest tuition and high rates of return."

... then I am truly unable to remember all of the of issues where Hillary has "evolved" to ape what Bernie's position has been. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking (1) Iraq War; (2) same-sex marriage; (3) Trans Pacific Partnership; (4) breaking up the big banks (something that, of late, she likes to pretend she'll do; I don't think for one minute she'd ever actually do it); and (5) free college tuition.

Anyone want to add to this list? I know I'm missing several items here.

Again, I'm sure this list is incomplete. If anyone cares to add on to the seven Monkey-See, Monkey-Do's I've identified, feel free.

Once again parroting EVERY issue that Bernie has been for forever!
This is exactly why I do not believe that she will come through with ANY of her promises.
She has lied in the past, she is lying now, she shall lie in the future.
I guess people like a liar. They liked Billy Ray Joe Bob Clinton for 8 freakin' years, while he helped destroy the middle class even further.
I want an honest person to be president. This is why Bernie is my choice.

You cannot watch any political discussions without hearing how Bernie is pulling Hillary to the left! And every time she does this she becomes more untrustworthy. Her opinions and plans change with the wind.
I agree, once she became president, she would change again. We've seen so much of this in the past!

Depriving the poor of a free education because the wealthy should have to pay? No one said the wealthy could not make a donation to their child's college or university! Obviously that never occurred to Hillary!

You might as well argue against free K-12 on the basis that rich kids can use them for free, too. Why not public libraries too, while we're at it. Stupid argument.

Sat Mar 5, 2016, 03:00 PM
Mar 2016

Bernie wants to raise the minimum wage to 15 dollars. 1 Denial Hillary says no. 2 Anger Hillary says it will hurt businesses and it's not feasible. 3 Bargaining. Hillary says maybe we can shoot for 12 dollars as a starting point when we negotiate with the Republicans. 4 Depression. Hillary realizes everyone likes Bernie's idea better. 5 Acceptance Hillary comes out with her own plan For 15.05 per hour because Bernie's plan wasn't quite good enough. (See my plan to go after the banks is even tougher than Bernie's) Then she will tell you she was always for 15 per hour and Bernie stole her plan.
