These restrained and artistic synthesizer riffs like here and in From the Beginning were a big part of what made ELP special. Of course, they weren't always restrained, but that was fun, too. Keith was always in the middle of it. A great lover of music who introduced a lot of kids to new worlds of sound and all the beauty, majesty and consolation therein. RIP Keith Emerson.
