She has a broad and interesting perspective.

"We continue to extract money - we have more control over the world now than we did under colonialism".

Debt is a big means of control.

neoliberal economics, deregulation, privatization and the end of the social safety net and middle class led by the banks particularly the IMF and World Bank. John Perkins, a former hitman for the global financial system has written and lectured extensively on how this system works and the harm and debt it creates. Neoliberal economics is an earth devouring scourge. Indian friends who've been in the US since the 80s but travel to India frequently, say the same 'top 10% extreme wealthy class echelon' is evident there.

I can tell by some of the reference Ms George makes that this is several years old, but the main thrust of neoliberal hasn't changed in that time.

Everyone should watch this, especially those who think the Greek people had it coming last year or continuing economic policies that haven't worked for most of us, and have been detrimental to those of us who used to be middle class Americans, are really the best thing since sliced bread. Neoliberalism needs to go the way of the divine right of kings.

The transfer of wealth will continue. The slow removal of social security net by chaining the monetary benefits little by little every year and the slow removal of health services and medicine will allow the upward flow of wealth to continue until the World will be controlled by the Foundations of debt service. Will the extended family choose death or debt?
