I have forgotten his name. He goes to UNC-Chapel Hill and talks about his experience. He is angry, and rightfully so. We should all rail against voter suppression, no matter what party we belong to. And now we have the same thing happening in Arizona.

He doesn't understand that they are hired guns, not true believers.

They work in DNC and local state party jobs, and they take gigs with candidates, running campaigns in states and regions....FOR MONEY. They get a salary and benefits for as long as the candidate wants to pay them.

When the candidate is finished with them and doesn't need their services any more, he gives them their last check and cuts them loose.

What many will do is move on to another campaign. That's what some people did (of the 240 that Sanders hired in SC and elsewhere). This guy is not a professional and he doesn't understand how it works.

It's all new to him and he thinks that everyone is a "true believer." What professional campaign workers do is hew to a party side, pretty much (not much crossover to GOP from DEM, or vice versa) but they'll work for any candidate on their team that cuts a check.

Loyalty for sale, or at least for rent. He's getting all freaky and crying because he doesn't "get" this. It's BUSINESS w/these people. It's how they gain experience and get hired for other jobs.
