Might as well post this here, since I'm congratulating you.

One of the great things about DWS is Tim Canova's legal challenge to the DNC which set a precedent for allowing Democratic Party challengers to Democratic incumbents access to the VAN (Voter Action Network). Pap is right about the Party dying; too bad it looks like suicide by obliviousness. Time for a new one anyway, since the Party's been over for quite a while now.

Also, 4th way? Is that a new insult for real liberals? Here's why it doesn't work: Third way democrats named themselves that. It wasn't an insult thought up by people who disagreed with them. Perhaps it has become an insult now because of what those people stand for, but they named themselves.

30. That was such a disappointment.

There have been many, but in some respects that was the worst. He could have remained neutral, but instead he kicked the progressives in the gut with that endorsement. I realize that he has done some good things as well as some things I don't agree with. He's conducted himself with dignity and aplomb while up against the most obstructive bunch of Congressional assholes ever. I voted for him twice and I used to like him a lot. But what the hell kind of message was he sending by endorsing corrupt, useless, incompetent DWS? I'm really disgusted. Most of the remaining good feelings I had for Obama just went up in smoke.
