That's not even a rock and a hard place, Cruz is even worse than Trump, although the party does seem to be lining up behind him (more-or-less).

One would hope Mr Cruz couldn't win the election. Unfortunately, the GOP has demonstrated on numerous occasions that it is possible to have a wholly unsatisfactory candidate take the White House.

.... people like Rush Limbaugh and Fox News be the voice of the republican party.
Nobody on the right called Trump out for sending "his people" to Hawaii to look
into President Obama's place of birth because if they had then Trump's run for
POTUS now would have had to answer for that racist move.

"They" made this trump monster and now they have to live w/him.

.... in power. They want to close the US Post Office, public schools, get rid of overtime pay,
planned parenthood, and lots of other things that make our country go so they can work for
the very rich and or Christian nut jobs. After impeaching Bill Clinton for a b.j., stealing 2
Presidential elections, and getting us into Iraq and making ISIS "they" should be in the dustbin of
history.

I think Trump is more beatable than Ted Cruz. Trump has managed to make Cruz look like a sane/reasonable alternative, but IMO Cruz could be more dangerous as president. He's a far right ideologue and a Dominionist who wants an America ruled by theocratic elites.

Trump believes only in himself, and money. He will probably do whatever makes Donald Trump look good, in his own narcissistic view.

We can't let either of these evil clowns take the White House. The Democratic nominee, whomever he or she may be, must win in November.

I bet Trump loses Republican women. Bernie would make inroads with white men as well, but I don't think he'd win them.

is only to justify when the GOP serves up their own choice at the convention. Parties decide their nominees. The masses don't.

with the exception of kasich, all the other candidates are markedly worse.

in cruz' case, much worse.

i had been playing with the idea of voting for him depending on who won the democratic nom, and what kind of nonsense $hillary tried to pull in the meantime.

in a match between trump and clinton, that "douche vs turd sandwich" south park allegory couldn't be more apt.

But it ain't over until it's over. Make sure you get out and vote regardless of what the polls say. Vote early, and vote often.
