(2,120 posts).... when it's just so much easier for them to shriek talking points like Joe Biden once said in 1992 there was no need to confirm any Supreme Court justices (or whatever). Or Hillary murdered hundreds at Benghazi. Or Liz Warren (my Senator from MA) once lied about having Native American heritage (it was proven later she did but who cares) so let's bray endlessly about her dishonesty and call her Liawatha like a crying two-year old (but of course it's perfectly OK for Republicans to lie as much as they like). Or how everyone but them is drinking the Kool-Aid as they breathlessly wait for Fox News/Trump to tell them what to think. Or....

(20,829 posts)then get angry that the government they created didn't work. So to solve this they vote for candidates that promise them the government works best when it doesn't work, once in office the GOP makes sure the government doesn't work, then their voters get angrier..etc this cycle runs apparently until the end of time.

(70,489 posts)After the 2004 election in OH two low level members of the Cuyahoga County (Cleveland)
BOE were convicted of rigging the recount and they were given prison time in the hopes they
would tell who or whom had then fix the count. A republican judge set both of them free.

(1,668 posts)Obama squandered his opportunity to have an even bigger impact on the country when he let incompetents like Debbie Wasserman Schultz run the party. I still consider him to be a great president, but he could have been more.

(9,006 posts)unless, of course, Dems can re-take the House and Senate.
It's a goddamn shame and miscarriage of justice that so many voters are blaming "both" parties for the gridlock, when it's just blatantly Republicans. It's that pesky freedom of speech thing, which enables assholes like Fox and right-wing radio hatemongers to pollute the airwaves and the minds of voters.

(581 posts)to get the nominations passed. The Democrats have done this for decades, relying on the Republicans to do their work. When will the Democrats wake up to the real facts, that they have to work and get the Democrats majority back.
The Republicans don't care about our judicial system. its working well for them. Just review the rulings and see how Bush nominations have ruled.
