but I'm pretty sure if you asked nice you could talk to some of the kinky in your midst and learn more and with greater clarity.

Go figure, every time there's a fetish documentary (or documentaries on societal cross sections that don't come from within that cross section) I tend to get my hackles up. In this case I don't know if it's being part of the community and involved closer to the 'subject' or that it always seems to cheapen and reduce the ideas and feelings to simplistic or mocked ideas.
