That isn't a Democratic Party principle or a Republican Party principle, that is simply a fact.
If a candidate, office holder or politician supports a policy that hurts their constituency that individual should be held accountable. No amount of excusing such behavior should absolve said office holder.
The Democratic Party cannot accept an office holder that protects the interests of the Fat Cats over the regular rank and file voter. That is the sure path to oblivion.
