Seems to me that she is lying. She will needs the super delegates to get her over the top and they don't vote until 7/25.

And she will only need 199 superdelegates out of 571 who already expressed their support for her.

Yep, seems like someone is lying allright...

Perhaps you have a crystal ball and can predict the future? She is the "presumptive" nominee. Sorry the facts are not wonderful enough for her that she needs to lie about being the nominee.

It's called math. And another one. It's called historical precedent.

You want to keep denying the obvious until and including the expiration date? Sure, go ahead!

One is called math, the other is called historical precedent. But, if you were following the thread, you already know this.

What makes me wonder is the people who refuse to acknowledge theirs.

That's OK, I get it that you don't get it.

Hey, it's pretty much over for now. The political revolution WILL continue with our next election in 2 years. It's time to take Congress back. It's time we got progressive.

It would have been equally historic for him to clinch the nomination. And I am sure Hillary would have been classy in making sure Bernie gets credit for it.

But Bernie has no class. And he is a sore loser.

How so? By staying till the end and not how kow-towing to the Clinton Machine?

Maybe he's waiting until the convention to declare a winner.... y'know.... like you do.

No manners and hugely no class to presume you've won and manipulate from the beginning.

Complaining about things people haven't said.

Simply ridiculous. Just trying to get another dig in. Pretending Sanders isn't "worthy" ...or something.

Pitiful.

Female presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party in history. And he is not aware it already happened.

That would excuse his evident absence of manners and class, won't it?

I see nothing to excuse.

Your opinions base on what people haven't said are really the only thing evident and absent of manners. So, excuse you...

My opinions in this case are based exactly on what Bernie didn't say but what any remotely courteous person should have and would have said under the circumstances. This is exactly what makes him rude and a sore loser.

Glad you brought it up.

The one thing he is noted for is his dedication to a cause and not to becoming president. This is a dem primary and not the GE and you better get it in your head she can't win without Bernie supporters so quit bad mouthing him. The revolution to take back our party and our country from the wealth 1% will continue long past this primary and the general election consists of os so much more than 34% of the democratic party. Trump is already turning populist saying what the voters want to hear. Clinton needs to develop some humility and learn from Sanders and why he beats Trump by much larger numbers than she does according to the polls. It's because he stands for what a majority of Americans claim they want when polled...and it's not the money party of corporatist dems.
You call him a "sore loser" because he doesn't drop out when you think he should. He wants to bring his ...our issues to the convention so they can be a part of what is debated and discussed. But to say he has "no class" is just obnoxious and shows your pettiness. The man is not a multimillionaire like Clinton and didn't enrich himself from the government teat but has dedicated his life to the struggle of the middle class, the working man unions and civil rights and talks truth to power but did not receive millions for doing so. You wanna talk about issues fine but character assaults based on nothing? It's how you'd feel when people keep talk about flipflopping, can't trust her, lying bought and paid for DINO war hawk who only stands for civil rights when it makes her look good (LGBT), I could go on but you get the point. Keep your unjustified insults to yourself...we're all stocked up here.

He lost the nomination. And if I were to believe what you say about Bernie, his reaction to this loss was uncharacteristically bitter and lacking manners.

I didn't call him a sore loser because he didn't drop out. I called him a sore loser because he didn't have the courtesy to acknowledge the historic significance of Hillary's victory. Not very smart for someone who wants to "take back" the Democratic party (damn, this rhetoric is becoming suspiciously familiar!) Virtually every other prominent Democrat did. They had manners. Bernie didn't.
