show you how a five day work week is a labor win. Our great grandparents were right to work and let us know it is not right. So they fixed it for us.

My father was born in 1911...and now, thanks to this video, I understand his McCarthy, House of Un-American Activities, John Birch fealty. As a young child, we signed up for a 30 minute "watch" at a little Nebraska puddle-jumper airport complete with binoculars to watch for incoming Communists. I was so proud.

Later in college, I embraced unabashed liberalism as a personal preference, but this video makes me understand the world my father grew up in. I have been sometimes harsh in my unstated criticism, and most of my family followed suit, but it makes more sense. I'm the Token Liberal.

My father was a Chaplain in the Army in Japan just before my birth...still fighting communism. My older sisters went to American elementary school in Japan and are still RWers. I understand them better, as well.

As to today...it separates Bernie...marching with the Unions, and Hillary, getting the corporate support from the now-establishment Union Management and of course the monied masters. There are generations and worlds of difference between the two. This video explains why.

It's not insignificant...it's historical.

Speaking of Kennedy, that is one of my first real political memories ... we didn't get a tv until I was about 12...the year of the first televised debates. Maybe it began then, who knows?
