I do like Pilger but he is not always right. He is wrong about the Spratly islands and China so he could be wrong about other things too.. To label Hillary as worse than Donald Drumpf is ludicrous and to blame all those wars on Democrats is also wrong......

But I had to stop listening at the point where he said Donald Trump is a maverick because he pretended to be anti war. The man is a con artist, he is not a maverick. He supported all the wars and even called for an invasion of Iraq before 9/11 so he is no maverick. He only pretends to be anti war because he think it gives him anti establishment cred.

12. In the past the USSR was very careful to keep themselves

surrounded by satelite states so that their border would be safe. I doubt that they feel any different today and this display of power by NATO and others is a real threat to them. That is also why they are so worried about Syria.
