(28,498 posts)I grabbed a bottle of mouthwash from the cabinet. After removing the protective plastic seal I discovered a child-proof cap that required I squeeze the cap while turning it. After a few attempts I was successful.
Then I thought of the recent shootings when a child found a gun and shot it, at times killing a member of the family.
I thought, "hmm" "Something isn't right here."

(39,451 posts)am I limited in how much I can buy but I also have to show my driver's license, and sign under perjury of law.
Why? Because it would take 100s of boxes to make amphetamines.

(14,642 posts)We don't have a poorly written amendment that guarantees us allergy medicine?
Other than that, it makes no sense. We can't have Kinder Eggs or lawn darts because a child might get hurt, but we can give them girl- and boy-colored guns for Christmas and birthdays. No wonder the world laughs at us.
