(4,113 posts)Between them labeling Egypt as Iraq on their maps and identifying Republicans in trouble as Democrats (Foley, Craig, etc), they get about everything wrong. But they don't care. Look at their target audience of low-educated, mouth breathing, knuckle-dragging inbreeds.

(11,085 posts)You know, a lot of our problems are caused by foreigners. The rest are caused by Americans. Therefore, we should build a wall around Donald Trump. Hey, it's the only logical way to keep us safe.

(70,489 posts)I can't count the # of lies Bill O'Rielly has been caught up in
and he is still their top show. Facts and the truth are just
little bits of nothing to Fox viewers. Ailes and Ruppert built
Fox on the idea that they would lie 24/7 as part of their
business model.

Fox News taking their cues from Animal House?

(750 posts)Winston Churchill made many quotable examples from his various speeches and public comments that its easy to compile a list of his most inspirational thoughts, the ones that would apply to a multitude of situations as this
There are a terrible lot of lies going about the world, and the worst of it is that half of them are true.
The other quote Winston made,
To improve is to change, so to be perfect is to change often.
Is that why News and political persons are so Flip flop?

(5,954 posts)That's the only way they can get away with hiring people like Sarah Palin, Karl Rove, Oliver North, and Mark Furhman as pundits, without feeling the urge to put bags over their heads.

(5,954 posts)If you're reasonably respectable, and not too crazy sounding, they give you a fellowship at the American Enterprise Institute. If you're reasonably respectable, but slightly crazy sounding they give you a fellowship at The Heritage Foundation. And if you're an embarrassing clown, side show freak, or convicted felon, like Sarah Palin, Oliver North, Karl Rove, or Mark Furhman, they give you a gig as a 'pundit' at Fox News.
Either way, those who serve to enrich the plutocrat class will be rewarded, and never starve in their old age. I can't say the same for regular people. (I mean, sometimes serving the plutocrats means trying to destroy Social Security, and therefore, LITERALLY trying to make regular people starve in their old age.)

(5,954 posts)Seriously, I'm surprised that wasn't their headline, given that they made such a huge fuss when Obama was in the UK, and said he thought they'd be better off staying in the EU.
Let this be a lesson to all the dingbats who like to vote strategically, as a way of "sending a message to the establishment," while assuming their side won't actually win. I think there are probably a lot of people who voted to leave the EU who are now pretty upset that it's actually going to happen.
