And it continues unabated as millions and millions of liberal voters have been disenfranchised so far.

The country had headed in a new direction because of FDR.

Nixon lost in Vietnam, but he won too much of his war on FDR.

It was under FDR that the corporate interests in the country became more politically organized and active - including the creation of the right-wing think tanks to create 'messaging' to sell the public on the wrong positions.

He gave us the start of the modern era of far-right justices on the Supreme Court - which gave us Buckley v. Vallejo, beginning the allowing of big money in our elections.

Nixon gave us Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld and Al Haig and countless more figures of future criminal administrations.

Nixon gave us the man recruited to try to discredit John Kerry as a war protestor - who returned with swift boat attacks in 2004.

Nixon gave us Roger Ailes, whose dream was to create a Republican tv channel, which became Fox. And this and a lot more.

When Nixon ran for re-election (knowing the large amount we knew of him) in 1972, he still won in every effing state except Massachusetts.
