But I would guess they are less realistic about needing others. To me it seems to be a misguided (childish?) believe that you don't need anyone else/ don't need civilization. That the "market" will settle everything as a natural force.

Hiding under the theme of cutting government waste and slashing the federal bureaucracy, except for those special carve outs that prop up their own ideology, but make life very difficult for women and their families. What young, immature, white, straight man wouldn't be attracted to the selfish agenda of Libertarians who tout less responsibility for men who want fewer taxes and regulations and more weed?

Women have always suffered the consequences of shortsighted politicians who exemplify both the Libertarian and Republican creeds of: “I got mine, fuck everyone else!.”

12. Well the ultimate libertarian society

would be totalitarian sexist. Not only would the richest be able to dominate the poorest....even more than they do now. But men, mostly white, who still hold most positions of power, would consolidate that hold and would be free from gobmint oversight on how they treat their womenfolk. No laws requiring equal pay for equal work, or balancing the workplace with hiring more women. In other words, those that dominate society now...white males in general, and rich white males economically, would be allowed to increase their power exponentially over every other segment of society without restrictions. That's gotta frighten most thinking women.

14. I mostly agree

with the explanations at the end of the video. I would add to those thoughts---as an amateur sociologist--- in a competitive world, men have generally had a physical and cultural advantage so pushing any kind of competitive society as in the "self-interest of all" is really a self-serving suggestion on their part.

And if you listen to Libertarians like Stefan Molyneux, they have actually drawn the conclusion that women and minorities are at a disadvantage under true capitalism (by very convoluted and questionable logic) and yet at the same time try to sell capitalism as beneficial to those who are allegedly at a distinct disadvantage to others under it.

I mean, who is going to buy what you're selling if you are telling them they will be at a disadvantage to others playing the economic game you want them to play? I think a proper economic model for humanity would take into account the differences of all people and groups living under it.
