Last night Christiane Amanpour was on the The Daily Show and she really nailed it. She said some people will disagree, but that journalists should NOT be neutral, they should be truthful. "Neutral implies a false equivalency." Exposing King's racism is not politically biased, it is truthful. Also it would have taken so little effort to put King in his place in just a few minutes.

If you were black, brown, green, red, purple, cowboy, cowgirl, Native American, Muslim, Chinese, or whatever, what would you think if someone was attacking you for your color of your skin, and why do you always have to use another nationality to express those racist views, and were you raised to be a racist?

If they don't answer it, ask again, we have a right to know---------------you don't move on, its the why moment, its that simple, why?

And when they have a public debate, someone should ask that question, and not have them screened before they can ask, ask them the question, and have it put into foreign policy, trade, domestic affairs, it is all related, all of the time

yelled at the TV screen as many times as I have. It is like they are checking off a list of questions and ignore the fact that a question was not answered.

I like your one question and it could be done so matter-of-fact - "So Congressman, were you raised to be a racist?" I can hear it in my head and I can see the dumbfound expression as he (or anyone else) sputters trying to come up with an answer. Most of them are well trained to anticipate the question and have a ready answer for whatever is thrown their way. A good journalist does the unexpected.

15. What was really pathetic was last week when Leslie Stalh had

the two main character leaders of this fascist bigoted party on the Sunday Morning Show, Face the Nation, I don't know, it has maybe 25 million plus viewers or 40 million.
She asked them a question and gets the answer that is just so contrived, like it was rehearsed, then instead of a follow-up for you know, to be a journalist and the public that cares, she says, lets move on to the next question---------------really, that's your job description, you are happy with the contrived answer, these are two twits and there followers that really don't like the you the media, they want to take your job away from you, and make you into a propaganda machine for the masses.

You are making over 20 million a year to be a journalist, and most journalist would love to be in your position of power, to be asking questions, and all she did was ask, some "soft ball question" with another "arcane soft ball question" .

Its like if they have to work really hard to ask a question its not in there job description or they get fired.

Like ask them a question: Do you think your dangerous with your policies of supporting racists tendencies, because you come across as being a bigot and racist or am I wrong, and would you please explain why not to the public ?

This is a democracy or a republic and it was founded on the principle to expose and criticize a policy and a government and those in power, not the other way around.

And yes I would like to throw something at the t.v., they are giving these racist people a free ride and they don't deserve or qualify for a free ride.

16. People on The Daily Show

have asked much better questions of politicians and have gotten some really extraordinary answers. The comedians are doing a better job than the journalists.

I think one of the problems is journalists don't want to be shut out, especially if there is a chance the person might end up in the White House. So they want the good interviews, but are not willing to ask the insightful questions. Donald Trump is a hard one, as he bullies his way through an interview. If a journalist asks something he doesn't want to answer, he raises his voice and talks over him/her. There are so many good questions for this guy and he's gotten a free ride for decades.

Good rant!!! I wonder what is in store for us tonight in crazy town!!!

17. I got a headache, I would listen for three seconds and got another

headache, the bottle of Aleve was not enough, switched to Gin and Tonic, that didn't work, switched back to another bottle of Aleve, had to switch to another program, went back and he was still blathering, his nonsense.

Got sucked in and caught one point of lies, when he said that the navy personnel that got captured by the Iranian navy was Hillary's fault, he forgot one very important item in that lie, the two boats had and where trying to take short cut, and they violated Iranian sovereignty, the commander of that expedition/ patrol, got fired for doing what he did-------but not in the world of the republican and the big TP (Toilet & Paper party) dumpster--he came real close to leaving the teleprompter, he almost looked like he was getting ready to do his version of Mr. Creosote in Monty Python, but was standing up
