I'm trying to find Gov. Christies Date of Birth on Wikipedia, but I think there must be some mistake. It says 1962, but that can't be right. Is it a misprint? Shouldn't it read 2002?Seriously, how messed up and insecure do you have to be to react to a heckler like this?
I don't know what the kid said to him, but apparently it had something to do with telling Christie to go home and get his... 'shine box?' *Shrug* I have no idea what that could be about.

(5,953 posts)that wouldn't be accurate. Nelson fights his own battles. He doesn't just throw childish insults at teachers from behind a phalanx of G-Men.

(12,536 posts)who traditionally funded Democrats were out to destroy Corzine and get Christie elected because that had no control over Corzine who had his own money.
The reason they put Christie in was because he would play ball with them. Adubato, and more recently Norcross, are in the Charter school business. Christie's first target for the budget meat axe was public schools. He defunded the public sector and directed the money to the charters.
Additionally, Norcross sells insurance to government entities. It was Norcross who directed his hand picked puppet, Senate President Sweeny, to pass legislation that would eliminate the State's public option for health care that has proven successful for New Jersey's public employees.
Chris Christie not only pretends to be Tony Soprano, he's so crooked Tony looks like a Boy Scout by comparison. Christie's masters include Norcross, Adubato and Karl Rove.
That's all anyone really needs to know about Mr. Christie.

(999 posts)Joe Pesci character in Good Fellas would lose his mind at any slight, real or imagined and he kills billy batz after he mocked frankie for shining shoes when he was a kid. I think the analogy is that Christie is too thin skinned. I have a feeling that Chritie knew exactly what that guy meant when he yelled out "shinebox".
TrollBuster9090
(5,953 posts)The guy actually yelled "Christie, Take care of the teachers," and Christie reacted by having a bona fide "Tommy D 'Shinebox' Moment." One of many throughout his career. To me, Christie has the ultimate Tommy D personality. Wants to be a 'made guy' and prove he's a gangster, but just comes off as a petulant little shit.

(5,953 posts)Making it very clear, of course, that he's the petulant little shit with the chip on his shoulder, and not Billy Batz. We have to be careful about which ridiculous movie characters we hang around these peoples' necks. I've always thought it was a terrible mistake to pin "DARTH VADER " on Dick Cheney because the bastard just got off on it. Jabba The Hut would have been much more appropriate!
Calling Roger Ailes "The Baron Harkonnen," on the other hand...perfect.

(5,953 posts)At least that's what Baron Ailes told Rush 'The Beast' Limbaugh and Sean Hannity at their last meeting while they were discussing the defeat of Duke Obama 'The Just.'
