Related: About this forumToday I celebrate our candidate, a good woman who will be a great president
In case anyone is buying our broken media's interpretation of what is important, this should help.
If you're buying the narrative that a month spent raising over 180 million dollars, releasing policy on mental health and pharma price gouging and calling out Trump for his decades long history of racism is somehow "hiding" or "guilt tripping", take a look at this for some perspective.
And if you should ever find it hard to defend this woman, step back and try really, really hard to see the bigger picture. Take a look-
She's already changed the world. Lucky for us, she's still at it.

(2,678 posts)why I've been a supporter of Hillary since her first days in the White House as First Lady. She was popular then, a popular us senator, Sec of State & she will be a popular president. Of that I have no doubt!

(23,091 posts)It's so easy to get mired in all the muck of a campaign and lose sight of the good in our candidate. This is a needed reminder for me of what I'm really voting for, not just who I'm voting against.

(32,623 posts)I see that video and shake my head at how anyone can pick her apart with media driven hoo hah. They all know Trump's a dangerous fool but so many of them made their names the easy way - by using anon repub leak/lies in the 90s - that it's just all they know how to do. It's comfortable, familiar, routine. And boy do they know they'll find a market for it.
I'm *for* her, too! Who else, outside the oval itself, has accomplished so much?
And her heart, her ability to step aside from personal concerns on our behalf? Gads, I could never hold up McCain as an example of decorum as she has (rightly, for defending POTUS from a rabid supporter at that rally during his campaign). I really don't know if I could get past Ol' Maverick's ugly joke about my daughter, even for the purpose of national comity, but Hillary did. For that alone I admire her greatly.

(22,669 posts)This is who Hillary is. This is the person we're trying so hard to get elected. We should be honored that she is stepping up to the plate to represent us, all of us.
Thank you Hillary!!!

Do me a favor, cross post to the Hillary Group so I can pin it there. This needs to be seen over and over.
