(601 posts)if that paper, or any newspaper has much influence on voters now. An editorial endorsement used to mean something, but does it nowadays with the internet? Well it's nice to see some sense coming out of Texas, for once.

(56,828 posts)but, the fact that the last time the DMN did not endorse a Republican was 1964 may make it newsworthy beyond the readership of the paper.

(2,322 posts)...I think we can rightly say that racism is perfectly fine with them, never mind that it kind-sorta undermines their "horror" over "authoritarianism." What, after all, is legalized racism but authoritarianism? But pondering the eternal conundrum of conservative hypocrisy will only give us headaches.

(23,059 posts)When fundamentalist support the 3 time adulterer who's every utterance is a lie a second, when the media consciously supports a raving traitorous lunatic for president of the US over a smart sensible candidate and tries to make her look worse than him (they can't but they sure do try), when one of our major party candidates loves the president of Russia 10x more than the president of the US and tries to make the murderous Putin look like a better leader, when this same candidate sees no reason not to use nukes, if he "wants" to, the world is tilting on it's axis.

Things really don't look good for DJT. Oh well, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Drumpf deserves all the scorn he gets.
