(3,568 posts)I'd heard it was good and had every intention of liking it, but...damn! I could barely understand a single thing that was said. Heavy scottish accent indeed. I don't have a clue what this guy is saying. Maybe it's just me. I often have a hard time with hardcore cockney accents too.

(15,229 posts)to understanding a broad scottish accent than I was 30 plus years ago. But from one or two newspaper articles of Welsh I've read, he seems highly intelligent ; and I mean, by the standards of what normally passes for high intelligence.

(182,769 posts)I was having a hell of a time until a scene in a club with loud music. The director added subtitles and I caught on to what they were saying. I had to rewatch much of the movie.
