But I have always been a fan of the Al Yankovic genre...And have done some of it myself just for fun.

But I can't tell you how surprised I was to learn -- saw this on a VH1 documentary years ago -- that Weird Al was valedictorian of his class and went on to earn a degree in architecture.

I haven't seen anything he's done in recent years, if he has done anything. (I stopped watching MTV some time back, and I'm sure you know they no longer show music videos.)

But not all that surprised...sometimes smart people are creative too.
And I stopped watching MTV when they stopped the music.

We have DirecTV ... and they just dropped MTV, along with VH1, and Comedy Central ... which means I can't watch Jon Stewart anymore.

So now I have no TV at all...and it is a good thing because there are all kinds of other options for entertainment like Netflix and You Tube...I have to wait to see John Stewart and those things but it is worth it to be rid of the trash that comes with TV.
