Keiser report: Monsanto and the Seeds of Evil (E109)

Here is a great report summarizing not so much the physical ills of the Monsanto corn situation, but rather detailing how the USA government officials sought to coerce France into accepting this poison, but also how Monsanto is another form of "Libor" transaction - causing indebtedness to the people in the middle and the bottom, and rewarding
ONLY the .0000000000002% of humanity
who occupy the Monsanto Boardroom

I usually don't like Keiser videos, because of his style, but it's important to understand how 'farm policy' is screwing us.

2. He mentioned India. Most of us know about this. Vandana Shiva speaks directly on what Keiser says.

Those who've checked out some of the other Canadian videos will see the long battle a farmer fought against corporate thuggery. They are a very powerful entity that is perverting the democratic process and destroying communities. Philosophically, as Shiva explains, they are stealing what should never have been for sale, by patenting life itself.

Vandana Shiva (Hindi: वन्दना शिवा; b. November 5, 1952, Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, India), is a philosopher, environmental activist, author and eco feminist.[1]

Shiva, currently based in Delhi, has authored more than 20 books.[2] She was trained as a physicist and received her Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 1978 with the doctoral dissertation "Hidden variables and locality in quantum theory."[3][4]

She is one of the leaders and board members of the International Forum on Globalization, (along with Jerry Mander, Edward Goldsmith, Ralph Nader, Jeremy Rifkin, et al.), and a figure of the global solidarity movement known as the alter-globalization movement.

She has argued for the wisdom of many traditional practices, as is evident from her interview in the book Vedic Ecology (by Ranchor Prime) that draws upon India's Vedic heritage. She is a member of the scientific committee of the Fundacion IDEAS, Spain's Socialist Party's think tank.

She was awarded the Right Livelihood Award in 1993.

Vandana Shiva spoke to a sold out audience at Hart House Theatre on October 22, 2009 about her philosophy of Earth Democracy.

This is a lecture in at theatre located on the campus of the University of Toronto and is part of taking control of lives back from corporations in a peaceful and sustainable way.

The video, introduction and lecture takes quite a while, so determine if you find this worth watching. These are also the kinds of topics discussed at YES! Magazine. They are supporters of Occupy and making communities based on more democratic terms, freer from the market.

of this video posted his concerns abut how terrible the corn crop is this year in his locale in Kansas. Now maybe that is more related to drought or other weather conditions, but I have herd from several indie researchers on the fact that much of the seed won't even sprout, yet alone yield decent corn.

Then there is the matter that the GM stuff destroys your organs. (FOR PEOPLE THINKING THAT STATEMENT IS OVERBLOWN, google the work of the scientists from the French university, University of Cannes, and their findings on what GM food does to the internal organs of their lab animals.) That GM stuff is why people have to have acid reflux drugs in their medicine cabinet. And why other people end up with esophegal and stomach cancers. That is why my household went gluten free - I can tolerate wheat as long as it is truly non-Gm, but almost all wheat in this country is GM.

Endanger human rights, stratify society, threaten democratic institutions and increase wealth inequality.

Hope you enjoy the videos and if you want to read them, I will post links to YES! Magazine. It was founded by David Korten and most who are concerned about the economic system controls the world, have read his works, they are classics and referred to by many seeking change. A few details for those for whom he is new.

His most popular books and there are videos on youtube where he gives talks on these subjects, too:

The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community

When Corporations Rule the World

Agenda for a New Economy: From Phantom Wealth to Real Wealth

From his Wikipedia page, so others will know who he is:

David C. Korten (born 1937) is an American economist, author, and former Professor of the Harvard Business School, political activist, prominent critic of corporate globalization, and "by training and inclination a student of psychology and behavioral systems".[1] His best-known publication is When Corporations Rule the World (1995 and 2001). In 2011, he was named an Utne Reader visionary.[2]

I'll stop there, but I'll bet Keiser is familiar and incorporates some of these ideas, which were as valuable as the Canadian film, The Corporation a few years ago.
