Its all pretty much true and serves as the ultimate conspiracy theorist guide to what is going on . But I disagree with some points here. Both parties are not the same. If they were the billionaires would be backing both candidates equally. Hedging their bets. Barrack was not groomed to be the President. He emerged as a leader. He was not borne unto the chosen ones. He was not a hollywood actor. Like Bill Clinton , he was a great scholar.
Most of what they say in this film is true. It is difficult to look upon this mirror for any American.

It is all pretty much true.

Not that N Korea is a bastion of truth or anything good.

But, we have been brainwashed to believe that we are the greatest country on the face of the earth. a bastion for freedom and justice and apple pie, blah blah blah..........

So, yeah we are pretty fucked up. And nothings going to change until the majority of us wake up and smell the napalm.......

I feel the exact same way about the so-called "news" RT that so many here on DU think is better than the crap we already have in the USA...All RT is Putin's Propaganda machine!

Seriously, the Professional Conspiracy Pimp, Alex Jones, is on RT!! WTF? That alone disqualifies RT from being respected as real news...Not to mention what Putin does with journalist that report the truth about him or his government.

YES, they do have Thom Hartmann & I really like him but I think he should leave & go somewhere else respectable & good natured like he is.

15. I think I disagree

I think the Chomsky and Zinn quotes are a bit of a reach for it to be a NK documentary. I think there was a bit too much pop culture in it to be a NK film.

The Youtube poster says they (the Youtube poster) are from Australia. The explanation of how this documentary got into the Youtube posters had sounds fishy.

I know the whole thing is in Korean (It's been dubbed over in English, for those who haven't seen it) and there are Korean subtitles but that doesn't mean it's a NK production.

I think it's a brilliant way to do a documentary on propaganda. What better way to hold up a mirror to the propaganda we've been exposed to than to make it seem as if one of the "Axis of Evil" was trying to expose it. That would give the true film makers room to be a bit more harsh in their delivery of "anti-propaganda." It's a great way to jar the viewer out of complacency and challenge his/her ideas.

8. This film is propaganda in its own right and

is directed at you and me, NOT North Koreans.

It has many truths in it. It is implying that the North Korean leadership is so much better.

That is what makes this such good propaganda. It takes the truth and sandwiches it between lies.

We have all been brainwashed, so deep. All who say negative things did not watch the whole movie, sometimes it's your enemy who tells you the real truth, not your friends.

Too bad that the majority are already too oppressed to see the truth about themselves and the institutions that make the USA a genocidal, dysfunctional stain on humanity.

The truth about American culture is clearly too hard for some to swallow.

Of course, we know that many on this thread expect to achieve their political 'smarts' simply by watching(or not) video's.
