The biggest issue we have with the recount is not funding it - it's explaining to the populace why it is so very important to ensuring that future elections can be trusted. And the media refuse to discuss the fact that the touch screen voting machines CANNOT be verified or recounted, and that the software in all of the machines CANNOT and MUST NOT be trusted since they are proprietary, secret, and cannot be examined by anyone - the top of that list being we the people.

I'm sure that I am not alone in suspecting that it was more than an energized voter base that led to Trump's so-called victory.

When you combine what Fitrakis has to say here, along with Greg Palast's reporting, you have many of the keys to why we all found ourselves shocked at the 2016 election results.
