My husband and I have been married 38 years and I'm sure to the outside world, everyone thinks we never argue/disagree, boy would they be wrong. I'm a very strong willed woman who speaks my mind and does not hold back when I'm upset about something. One rule we have, is never go to bed angry, so far that's worked. I found fault with Bill, not because of his shortcomings as a husband, but for his trade agreements and not stepping down and handing it over to Al Gore when he was impeached. I think that would have been the 'right' thing to do at that point, and more importantly, would have led to Al's election without interference from the 'Black Robes". I became a Hillary supporter after it was clear Bernie was not going to be our candidate, but the fault I find with Hillary is that she is/was too willing to step a little farther to the right. I hope next time we have a candidate who will fight for our Democratic platform and the agenda men and women have given their lives to uphold in this 'republic'. We will lose our republic if we do not stand up for our Democratic ideas. I've had people on here try to give me a 5th grade lecture on our being a 'republic' and not a 'democracy'. A democracy is the free and equal right of every person to participate in a system of government, often practiced by electing representatives of the people by the majority of the people, which in my opinion was destroyed in our last election. A republic is a political system or form of government in which people elect representatives to exercise power for them. So, please, you can stop with the semantics, when I use the term 'democracy' ~ in the last election we certainly did not have "the free and equal right of every person to elect representatives to exercise power for us". People were bullied, threatened, polls closed in many areas where there was a Democratic majority or black/brown majority, the media never challenged dRump on ANY of his lies, Comey was definitely out of line, GOPers were just fine with Russia degrading our election process and on and on it goes ~ so cut the BS about our being a 'republic' and not a 'democracy', you sound childish and petty.
