1. I gotta say....

I didn't know our reps could speak with such fire and seeming conviction. Bernie, of course, is a given. But the rest? Now, let's see this kind of spirit on the floors of the Capitol building. If there's to be a Revolution, it shouldn't have the tone of a hat-in-hand apology!

2. I think the Dems have an unusual oportunity

right now. They need to fuel this fire to retain what's good about the ACA and the palpable public fear of losing it. They should take a step to the left and float the idea of adding a public option to the ACA. It's a risk, but clearly folks are willing to rally on this issue. The rethugs have ZERO replacement plans and this fact is just beginning to dawn on some of the voters who are now realizing they voted against their better interests. (Duh!) While I don't think that the dems have the steam to get the public option any real traction, maybe it'll make the rethugs life difficult for a while and prolong their effort to strip citizens of their health insurance. Prolonging their plan weakens it. They don't want voters focusing on this for very long...their base might catch on.
