Related: About this forumIdea for an Obama Campaign Video...
So, I was in FL for about a week and the TV ads for both candidates were in full swing! Tit for tat kind of mentality. Similar sound bites back and forth...basically. In essence, nothing really new.
So, I was thinking that the Obama campaign ought to kick it up a notch - you know? Though, I might need some help from ya'll to make it all come together...
Here's the idea:
The tune: "For The Love Of Money" by the O'Jays.
The visual: A vast and varied and strong, wide assortment of pictorial compilations depicting the Republican Party, Romney and any and everyone else involved in the breakdown of this country in such a way as to illustrate...in no uncertain terms - just what the heck has really transpired!!!
OK. Here is a good starting point, I think. It's a wonderful video by Amon Production on youtube:
My thinking is to take this basic premise - and then tweak it in such a way as to really expose the Republicans for what (most) of them are really all about....the love of money ~
To me, this might have a chance in rising above mere sound bites to deliver a real punch to the opponent...carrying with it the possibility of a huge, visceral wake-up call to the largely uniformed/sheeples.
Though...I'm not really sure on how to exactly coordinate all of this? ...I wanted to throw this out here anyway in the hopes that it might gain some traction and perhaps (hopefully) morph into something worthwhile...
A sort of project in motion ~ ~ ~
Any and all constructive comments/pics/ideas welcome.
On edit - If someone here can take this and really run with it - PLEASE feel free to do so!!!

(618 posts)I know nothing of video production, but I think final product should be cut down to one 30 and maybe one 60 second spot, with graphics of Romney, bankers, and the rich 'living large' juxtaposed to the poor, homeless, and unemployed.
Good luck with your project.

(1,296 posts)I thought about that too. Over 3 minutes is probably too long at one time...maybe it could be sectioned off in three 60 second segments in all practicality? Shrug. I dunno.
I say - go for the gusto. Full 3 minutes - start to finish if it were up to me.
Thanks for your well wishes and welcome to DU!
