Kendall Jenner Pepsi Ad

Just so anyone who wanted to see the actual ad could do so. Yeah, it is pretty tone deaf. A Pepsi is not going to end a protest. People at a protest are not going to celebrate just because a cop drinks a Pepsi.

because trump and the republicans are on the opposite side of the fence. Democrats are good. Trump and the republicans are evil.

It's an ad, for crying out loud. Can't we find enough issues to be serious about without creating baroque worries. Focus people, invest your outrage and your efforts on issues that matter - and stop being so thin-skinned that every little thing diverts your attention.

...reminded me of I Want To Give the World a Coke and the Daisy in the rifle image rolled into one...but this time the cop took the peace offering and smiled.....unlike the National Guards stoic indifference when the daisy was placed in his rifle.

and after all... they ARE the Pepsi Generation now....time to pass the torch.

8. I kind of liked it. The diversity. The peaceful protest. The words and music

I could do without Jenner. People love the nonsense commercials made for the Superbowl. It's an advertisement for a product...while delivering a great message. What's the big effing deal? If love and world peace were the basis for all commercials maybe we'd be more prone to it. If love and world peace were the basis for all communication....maybe we'd actually have it.
