Too bad we can't make laws that penalize the broadcasting of blatant political lies.

(16,104 posts)We watch ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, Fox News, MSNBC and CNN for the spin of their opinions now, for that "element of truth" Mr. Acosta is condemning.
And, yes, with CNN we have an expectation of a fairer and more balanced perspective than we'd find on primetime MSNBC or Fox News, but we still have to recognize we always get a dose of bias-confirming opinion which keeps us coming back - or we'd look elsewhere.

(3,827 posts)Most of the MSM have pundits (puppets) on their broadcasts to give equal time to both sides- that's been going on for years.
I think Acosta was talking about the actual journalists who are covering this WH in an unbiased way. Credibility for real journalists is being lost by accepting Alex Jones, Brietbart, and the other venom-soaked sites who aren't going to call out this administration for their daily lies.
